Ice Storm 1998
...as nothing but ice, snow, hail, rain. For some of the people like my friends and I, we went outside and went snowboarding and built forts, and played war games. But for other people they stayed inside powerless. They played board games; listen to their compact disk players or tape players. Some people kept up with the storm, like kept shoveling the snow, and ice. People’s lives changed forever as in a few people lost their houses, and some animals died in the fearce storm. The houses that were lost, it was because some trees fell on them, as for the animals it was because of trees falling, and the coldness of the storm. Only a few people got hurt in the storm. The damage was massive. We had power lines down all over the place. Tons of trees came down, in people’s backyard, some of them in the front and on the houses. Some of the people’s houses were damaged in the storm. A lot of people were not on the road after like the first three days of the storm. Then less and less showed up o...
