How it came to be that Teachers First got apples.
...r thought that later on in the school year, Mrs. Robinson would teach something interesting. Many days, weeks, and months went by. It was almost the end of the year now. Roger finally got the courage (on the second last day of school) to ask Mrs. Robinson why she didn’t teach anything. At first Mrs. Robinson failed to give a response, and then she decided to tell Roger about her feelings. She told Roger that when she began teaching, nobody paid attention to her. Everybody ignored her and refused to answer her questions. So finally one day, she decided not to teach at all. After hearing her story, Roger decided to do something about this situation. He felt sorry for Mrs. Robinson so after school finished, Roger told the whole class to bring one apple each to give to Mrs. Robinson. When some kids asked why, he said he would tell them tomorrow. The next day when Mrs. Robinson came to her classroom, she found a lot of apples on her desk. She asked the kids what these apples meant.
