How I Found Out About the Tooth Fairy
...ist. The only thing that had been going through my mind was that I was going to have my tooth pulled. To console my mind, while waiting for my turn in the dentist office, I thought of many positive experiences in the past when I lost my teeth. My mother also tried to console me. As we waited, my mother told me all about how the tooth fairy was going to make a trip to our house that same night. Regardless of what the weather conditions were, my mother stressed the fact that the tooth fairy was going to make a trip to our house. From my understanding my mother told me that she did not leave the money under my pillow and my father didn’t either. I knew deep in my heart that I was going to receive some money that night under my pillow. After the dentist pulled my aching tooth and wrapped it in a small plastic container the size of a pill box, I tucked the tooth deep into the pocket of my brand new snow suit. As I walked into my house trying not to think about the unbearable pain, I went into my bedroom. I slept in my room from the time that I arrived at my house, until the time that I went to sleep that night. As I slept peacefully, I heard a loud noise in the kitchen that woke me up. I yelled out, “Who’s there, is it the tooth fairy?” but unfortunately it was only my mom responded by saying “It’s only mommy honey, go back to sleep.” Suddenly I remembered that I had forgotten to take my tooth out of my snow suit and place it under my pillow for the ...
