How Fear of Violence Affects Society?
...lone expose more than enough, different types of mini shows such as Sorority Life, Road Rules, The Real World, Jackass, and many more shows that should be rated so that parents along with young adults should be aware of what they are about to view. Radio is another example why more violence is occurring in our society. Many children are being exposed to many different types of rap music, which enables them to want to be like rappers. Rappers are people who forgot where they came from. Many of there backgrounds are the same. Most rappers come from the ghetto, sing for a living, and flaunt their money by making music videos, which show naked girls, people drinking, and violence. Lyrics to the songs are also widely exposed through the radio. The radios, along with televisions, don’t even bother editing the bad words from the songs they play. I personally feel that it is encouraging kids to say those curse words because they look up to these rap singers. The whole thing about the east coast and west coast is just immature. Tupac Shukur is a widely known rapper who was killed in a drive by shooting. He let the world know that he was from the West Side in most of his lyrics, and that’s what got him killed. Not long after, a famous West Side rapper, The Notorious B.I.G. was also killed in a drive by shooting. This masquerade is still going on till this very day, and it’s all about violence. All that satisfies these East Coast, West Coast rappers is the amount of danger they can do to each other. Terrorism is a huge part of who we are now.
