Various scientific studies have found physical differences between homosexuals and heterosexuals. Dennise McFadden from the University of Texas conducted a study known as the “Inner Ear Difference in Lesbians” and published their findings in the March, 1998 Proceedings of the National Academy of Science. Using a test that measures the sound the cochlea makes when responding to a soft clicking sound they found a slight structural ear difference of the cochlea in the inner ear in lesbians than in straight women. Lesbians have click response that is significantly weaker than heterosexual women. A study by J. Hall & D. Kimura in 1994 at University of Western Ontario studied the finger print ridges of gay and straight men in order to establish a biological premise. They studied finger print ridges because they are formed within the 1st 4 months of pregnancy and do not change afterwards.
