But this was only a small part of what the held for European Jews. The hate for Jews continued for many years after the passing of the Nuremberg Laws. Jews were rapidly moved out of Germany and all their money was given to the government and many meetings were held to organize demonstrations against Jews. In September 1939, Germany invaded western Poland. All the Jews were rounded up and taken to ghettos and concentration camps. All of the ghettos were located inside cities in a area to segregate Jews from the rest of the public. The ghettos were just like a prison. In June 1941, Germany continued its invasion of Europe and captured some of the western U.S.S.R. All the Jews now lived in lands controlled by Nazi's.
