(Act three scene three)” Ophelia is another character that the hidden personality theme is evident. She hides her true identity from the harsh realities of her life. Ophelia believes that Hamlet loves her and would never hear her directly. But through Hamlets words and his action such as killing her father, it destroys her hidden personally that she used to protect her self. Like Claudius these event would also prove to be too much for Ophelia. She eventually goes insane and takes her own life The Most complicated and one of the best examples of the hidden personality theme is Hamlet himself. The line between Hamlets real personality and hidden one is very complex. In his delusional madness he hurts many people with his verbal attacks. I feel that Hamlet uses his so called madness to justify is real personality, which is an undecided, curl, and suspicious person. Hamlet kills innocent people such as Rosencrantz, Guildenstern, and Polonius with little or no remorse. In act five in the play Hamlet blames Polonius’s death on his won madness by saying “I here proclaim was madness. Was't Hamlet wrong'd Laertes?
