His power was the spark for the black race to the color of a person’s skin doesn’t determine how successful someone is. He proved that having a dream and the will to pursue it will make a person become successful. He was a leader and looked up to for the strength he risked his life for in the ring to lead the nation into equality for every man. 2 Charles Lindberg was widely known for his extravagant nonstop solo flight across the Atlantic. Lindbergh risked his life by performing aerial feats by challenging him self as well as is plans. Many people believe that his innovations in aviation achievements opened up the world to flight. His heroism shone as he made that trip across the Atlantic opening up the eyes of many people around the world. Heroism was given to Lindbergh at a young age according to his daughter Reeve Lindbergh. My father Charles Lindbergh became an American hero when he was 25 years old. (Reeve. 75) Lindberg is a true hero because his single flight opened the world to new aviation technology and safety. In the 1982 many signs of heroism were being displayed when a plane collided with a bridge on a cold winter day in Washington D.C.
