As Doan remove the eleven dollars and fifty cent from his glove to pay Mr. Kinch, he unknowing dropped a dollar from his glove on to the desk. Mr. Kinch snatched it up without Doan knowing it. Mr. Kinch quickly gave him a receipt and sent him upon his way. When Mr. Kinch friend discover what Mr. Kinch had done, he attempted to get Mr. Kinch to give the money back to Doan. However, he failed to change Mr. Kinch mind. When Doan returned looking for his dollar, Mr. Kinch denied of having it, nor seeing it. Even made it look as if Doan was trying to accusing him as a thief (which he was). Needless to say, Doan left that off that day without the dollar someone had gave him to purchase medicine with. Mr. Kinch friend encounter Doan later that day at the drug store attempting to purchase medicine. However, the clerk wouldn't give him the medicine he was in need of.
