All offences that you commit are now kept on the police computers known as a criminal records that are used in police stations all over the United Kingdom. Computers can also be used to find samples of peoples DNA and other evidence from the crime scene like fingerprints. Also another easy and fast way to catch shoplifters and muggers is CCTV (closed circuit television) cameras, which are placed in stores and streets all over the UK and are hidden in the store somewhere E.g. behind a light or even in a light. This is because so you cant see them, but they can see you and your every move, criminals don’t suspect a thing, though some shops let you see the CCTV to scare you, All CCTV cameras are linked to the store security computer. If it were not for ICT there would not have been hardly any break throughs in medicines and drugs to find out how to cure certain illnesses.
