They met in the woods behind the plantation, and when Evelyn felt her life coming to an end she made her friend promise to continue coming to the meeting place even after she died. Other residence and guests at house have also see Evelyns ghost. A man doing repairs on the house walked into the southeast bedroom and saw a women looking into a mirror. When he told the owner of the house about this he was shocked, because there was no one else in that house at that time.
