...istically the play had already begun as soon as the audience stepped in the theatre. I knew from the very beginning that I was not going to be bored at all throughout this play. John Loschmann, the director of this wonderful play, took the CABARET a step further beyond normal making the performance magnificent. Performances in which the actors involve the audience really make a play more entertaining and interesting. In addition, if you think about it the audiences are well on there feet ready for anything to happen, which keeps the audience more focused and into the performance. David Sanchez, whom played Emcee, was absolutely amazing. Not only did he have an amazing voice but his coordination and movement were right on the dot. One element I really enjoyed and noticed was the movement and dance of the actors. Even though the audience was completely focused on the voices and music of the play, nobody had noticed how much time was actually put into the dancing and movement. Fred Ebb, the musical director, really deserves a lot of credit due to his outstanding musical talent. In my perspective this takes a lot of talent and experience to make the timing one of a kind. I’ am the type of person whom doesn’t inspect on the obvious things of a performance but rather look deeper in to the performance to those whom the center of attention is not on. By doing this I’am able to noticed the most amazing things such as John Kander, whom gives the musical direction, at his best. Everything went perfect in regards of timing of when the actor would start his/her song, or when there would be a particular scene with music. I give a lot of credit to the entire musical crew in really portraying a true sound to the ear to go along with the remarkable voices of the actors. Although there are all these fine elements to CABARET, there is of course one thing that I must complain about. The accents that...
