...ill speak as if I was a parent, because then I can really defend my answer as I would have to if I did have kids. I would not go as far as to completely tag the movie as from the devil or anything that extreme but I think I would discourage my children from seeing it. I have many reasons for this. The first reason I have is that I don’t know how much a movie really can effect a young child, I would guess it varies depending on the child, but, were there is an error to be made I would obviously as a parent want to be on the safe side. I don’t want my kids to have any influences that might steer them towards witchcraft. I am not necessarily saying that this movie will do that but I’d rather be careful. The second reason I would discourage the movie is because I think that it is defiantly a fad that will probably be forgotten, similar to things like pogs and bell-bottoms. When it is over I am sure it won’t be a big deal that they missed this one but the possibility of lasting effects is to great to risk it. The most important reason that I would discourage my kids from seeing this is that it does not glorify God. It actually glorifies witches, witchcraft and sorcerers. This is not something I would even want my kids to have the opportunity to think about I would not want there to be a crack in a door open for these kind of things to enter there mind.
