Graduation Day
...mates, as they all knew that I had the television and wanted to receive updates from me as we sat on the stage. The day was supposed to be special for all of us, we were all going to receive our diplomas and make high school another chapter in our lives. However, this special day was not remembered like that for many of us. It is remembered as the day we sat on stage, all dressed up in our white tuxedos with red roses pinned to our chests, and waited patiently for updates on the score of the game. For me, I was able to sit up on stage and watch the game, looking up on occasion to make sure that it wasn’t obvious to the audience what I was doing. For many of my classmates, what they will remember is continually asking people around me to get the score so that they could know and pass it on to whoever wanted to know. Even though many thought I was crazy, I still believe I got the most out of my Graduation. I was able to watch my favorite team play in the most important game of their season and was able to receive my diploma at the same time. I was honored at my Graduation too.
