...er watching this film overrides those factors. When looking at the original version of the film, one might wonder where the 2000 version came from. It seems the only similarities are that fifty cars must be stolen in three days and the fact that both of the films have the same name. The differences out way by far, it’s like the first film disappeared because the 2000 version improved so much, it became the original. Tyson 2 The original was an independent film that never made it to the theaters, there were no big name actors involved, and the plot was boring and weak. The 2000 version seemed like a whole new movie. It was a motion picture blockbuster, filled with big name stars like Nicolas Cage, Angelina Jolie, and Robert Duvall. Along with big stars came an improved plot with the main story about Memphis Raines (Nicolos Cage) and his crew stealing cars as well as a secondary love story between Memphis and an old flame, Sway (Angelina Jolie), unlike the original with a cut and dry plot of guys stealing cars, there wasn’t any side story involved.
