As you can see this is a direct influence on people’s culture, because the media is stimulating the values and attitudes of the people In cultural approximation, there is a great influence on the people’s cultural views for a variety of reasons. Here there is a direct link, most of the cases here countries broadcasting are taken from other countries in which suite the people’s values and that have similar cultures in order to better adopt. By doing so, this will increase the values shared by the other countries worldwide, since programming will be directed to a specific audience whom already are in touch with their culture and world like to see productions that follow their taste. But the problem here lies within the media productions, as we know countries are politically structured different and politics has a great influence, not only on people’s life but also on the media productions. Through the media, views are shared and each country has there own opinions, but it doesn’t mean because the cultures are the same, that the views shared of how countries should operate and how people should go about their life should necessarily be the same. In this scenario a person may choose to go about their life and follow ideologies in relation to there own country, even though a different country’s view is being relayed to them from the media productions. As you can see here the media, once more has made attempts to manipulate the individual’s mind, in sense to try to make the individual follow the political views or practices of the country in which the broadcast is from. In turn what this does is influence the individual culture by broadcasting different interpretations of similar values. In each community there are different national systems in which information flows, whatever media content they see, is what helps develop the individual’s culture. People need means of expressing themselves culturally and in many parts of the world people are limited from these freedoms, which reduces the possibility for access to information, which drastically deters the mainstream of a societies cultures.
