...owth and Poverty report have shown that 2 billion people are still suffering from poverty. Some of these countries are Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and the former Soviet Union. Unlike the developing countries (such as Mexico and China), they have been unable to involve themselves with globalization. They have not had the opportunity to take advantage of the global markets and because of this their ratio of trade to their Gross Domestic Product has remained very low and may have even declined. Because of their debarment within globalization, these countries have been left suffering from poverty, destitution, and famine. Their poverty levels still rise, education levels decrease and their economies subside. In order for all countries to be part of globalization, the richest countries must help the poorest countries out. Developed countries are able to give less developed countries support and a chance to become a developing country. It simply gives impoverished countries a chance. Developed countries can help support less developed countries by receiving exports from them and allow them to import their goods. This way poor countries can make a profit by selling their grossing products. In turn this will increase jobs for others, income, and build a stronger economy. In the end rich countries can only do so much for the poor countries. It is up to the less developed countries to improve their own country and learn how to be independent as well. By doing this the country can involve themselves in globalization. In order to involve themselves they first must learn how to support the poor citizens of the country and their economy. By doing so they must increase the education funding and better the health care. By improving the countries education and healthcare, the economy will slowly progress and poverty will decrease.
