Another painting inspired by the affair was a picture of her with her hair cut off and wearing a suit in protest to Diego who loved her long hair. A few years later she painted a new picture, in the new painting she put all the hair together and put back on her head showing she will stay truthful to Diego. She also wasn’t afraid of death, like most Mexican make fun and celebrate the dead. She painted skeletons from time to time, showing that she would be ready for death at any time and not only she wasn’t afraid but she invited death in her life. After having many miscarriages her only comfort were animals she had around the house, and her favorites were the monkeys. Which were included in many of her pictures and represented what was pure and good to her in her painful life.
