Freedoms Obligation
...ring our devotion enough, is to simply sing out in a patriotic hymn sufficient, I think not? It is with the actions of justice, ethical reasoning, loyalty and enduring liberty that we owe in return. This sort of contract between integrity and freedom cannot go unsigned, for without it our obligation goes unfulfilled. We as American people must be fair and ethical, showing no favoritism to a common man. We must strive for equality and stomp into darkness the beasts of prejudice. If we place restraints, if we hinder others, we suppress the whole, for in freedom also exists unity. A hand reaching out should grasp the spectrum with an unbiased hold promising fervent aid to all. To freedom, truthfulness is owed, those who speak with tainted tongues shall be cast from the cradle of independence. Liars pillaging with vices of greed, falsehood, and corruption shall find no home in freedom. To act with dignity and pride should be our pursuit, not loathsome character and wretchedness. Walk with a high head my friend, not one inflated with pride, but rather, filled with the principles of responsibility. Lying open in our hands, freedom calls for our cooperation. A shield must be made to protect our liberty. This shield is to be constructed with the armed men of battle, for in time of war freedom demands us the most.
