...escriptive. After this I decided to take a break and eat some food. There were a lot of tents with food provided by the Festival of Books. Unfortunately they were all very costly, almost seven dollars a sandwich. I wandered around for about fifteen minutes and then found a Panda Express. There, I got more food for better prices. Most of the time throughout the festival I was with someone, except for maybe ten minutes. I thought to go and explore some more of the festival. Although the aisles were not that crowded, under the tents were stuffed. I felt like I was in a box of sardines, though if you were patient you would be able to get around. As I explored the campus of UCLA I found some small tents with sample foods. This immediately attracted me! There several different samples to taste. I had some oatmeal bars, fruity drinks, and Starbucks coffee. It was like a mad mob as people shoved for Starbucks. There were mini cups of a new malt they had and people were dying for them. As we waited for the lady to take the tray from the mini kitchen, people looked like they were going mad for the mini cup. As soon as the person preparing the blend handed the tray to the lady people started to claw and grab. Consequently, several drinks spilt over and spilt on the server, me, and several other people. It was a waste of time and a stain of my sweater for nothing. I did not even get any coffee sample! Next I headed to look a bit more around the area. I found many tents that did not have to do much with books. One in which I was particularly interested in was a large booth about California standardized testing and other miscellaneous topics. I picked up information about star testing, Golden State exams, SAT’s, and the ACT. Next to that stand there was also a lot of random information about the UC’s.The UC’s that interest me are UCLA and UC Berkeley, which they had a lot of information about.
