I believe she knows of Grima Wormtongue's intentions, and stays silent for this reason. After the Company went to war, she was appointed to rule Rohan when she had rather gone too. Nevertheless, Eowyn did not want to be left behind. She Joins the host of Rohan under the disguise of a man and took the name of Dernhelm. The most important of all of the female characters in The Lord of the Rings is Lady Galadriel. Galadriel is the Queen of Lothlorien. When the Fellowship enters Lothlorien Galadriel greets them and knows of their quest. She allows the Fellowship to stay for a few days. Before they leave Lothlorien, the Queen of Lothlorien allows Sam and Frodo to look into the Mirror of Galadrie...
