Eve's paradise
...es that because of her sin, paradise is lost. She carries the blame and guilt. This quote is significant to the theme of Milton’s poem. The theme of the poem is to justify the ways of God to men. The evil serpent tempted Eve into eating the forbidden apple from the Tree of Knowledge. After committing her crime, Paradise was lost. But Eve accepted the fact that she had to leave Eden and enter a world of vanity. Adam and Eve sinned; therefore, God had to punish humanity. Adam and Eve disobeyed; nevertheless, God showed them his mercy and restraint. God displays his love and compassion by giving his Son as a gift to humanity. Humankind must now suffer in pain and death, but can also experience salvation. Although humankind has tumbled from grace, it can redeem and rescue itself by continuing to devote to God. Eventually, good things will prevail from sin and death, and humankind will be rewarded. I have experienced a situation such as this quote. I had received my license during the early part of summer.
