These words can cause much pain, anguish, and conflict amongst people who don’t even know each other. People say slurs such as “jap”, “Jew”, “Arab”, Ethnicity and Religion are two diverse subjects, which can either have a positive or a negative effect on people. In our team, we have a person of Caucasian/Hispanic background, an Asian background, and a full Caucasian. Being from three different ethnicities, instead of having any trouble, we think it has a positive effect on us as a team. Everyone brings more to the table. Everyone has new and different ideas, which in turn are effective for us as a whole team. ust stress on the "diversity" aspect when it comes to ethnicities, and then u can probably stress more about "avoidance of discrimination" in personal beliefs and religion. the positive effects would be an atmosphere of camaraderie and team effectiveness.. something like that.
