...in order to be with him in heaven. I find it amazing that the disciples had no idea what Jesus was about, but then I think to myself, I would not have understood his purpose until the end either. I am glad that we have classes like this so we can better understand Jesus and what he was all about. I cannot even imagine the pain of dieing on the cross, or the pain of his separation from God when all of our sins were placed on his shoulders. This fact makes me want to live my life more like Jesus to try and repay a debt that is impossible for me to pay back. The difference that it made for me that Jesus died and was raised is amazing. He died so that I could live eternally with him in heaven. He cared so much about me that he suffered tremendously so I wound not have to. By doing this he washed my sins away so I would be blameless and pure in Gods eyes. I know there is no way to give back what Jesus gave to me and no matter how hard I try, his gift to me is greater than anything ...
