Both wore a hat with a sports team logo, one wore his backwards, and the other wore his sideways. It was not visible how the singer from California had his hair, but the one from Puerto Rico had short dreads, which stuck out from the bottom of his hat. The appearance of these two individuals contrasted the guitarists not only in appearance, but in music style as well. Esoteric7 consisted of three guitarists; each had a style in clothing and performance similar to each other. All three of these band members wore clothing affiliated with punk music and skateboarding. It is unknown whether or not any of these guitarists actually skateboarded, but they all wore a clothing style familiar to the sport of skating. Also, their guitar style paralleled that of punk music. The music they played was fast and changed in frequency constantly. The dominance of the higher pitched sounds was clear, and the rhythm followed a single beat pattern. The clothing worn by all three also portrayed a punk and skateboarding style. All three wore blue jeans, loose fitting but not too baggy. Their belts were studded with different metal shapes and designs. Their shirts were tight and displayed the names of skate companies and other punk bands. Also, all three of the guitarists had piercing filled with metal studs or small hoops, which is also common among punk style. This style was quite different from the drummer in that the drummer followed a more independent style. The drummer of Esoteric7 displayed a style of independence from the rest of the band members. His style was more laid back, and gave a feeling of self-confidence in himself. During the performance he was wearing a large, white tee shirt with bright colored letters, and a picture of Bob Marley on the front. He was the only band member wearing short pants during the brief concert, even though the weather called for something a little warmer.
