What is your feeling towards benefits in general? I think benefits are a good way to reach out to your the employees. It helps create a feeling that the company wants to help me plan for my future. The only problem I see with offering benefits is if the employees do not take advantage of it. If they do not use it then they should not have it because if becomes a burden on the financial burden on the company. Also if the employee is required to put in a lot of effort it may not even be worth it, most people have a lot going on in their lives with work and their families that they may not have the time to do it their self. Why do you feel employers do not offer benefits to their employees? Often times it is because the company high a high turnover ratio of employees, and sometimes it is because the company may not be a very large company so they may not be able to afford it. Why do employees not take advantage when there employer offers benefits to them? I think that most employees do try to take advantage of benefits, but those who do not take advantage are usually younger and can not afford to lose money from their checks. Also some feel that it requires to much effort, and do not realize how important is to save for retirement. How would you feel if benefits were only offered to a specific group of individuals?
