Be involved with the students and show them how to do it but in a manner that is fun and easy at the same time. To do this you as a teacher will have to become a student and understand what a student is going through, and what he or she will like and dislike. Don’t ever think what you like or think is best is right for the whole of the class or environment always be willing to change for the better. The best ways of learning is from each other and our experiences so don’t take that away from the students. Group work or cooperative learning is an excellent way to teach social skills and team management to accomplish a goal. Students will have fun and yet learn without them even knowing until test time or quiz then the information starts to come back to them. Fun group work can have positive results in a students progress and grades. For example instead of just reading a play and assigning scenes for homework, have the class read it out loud and act it out get the class involved by assigning parts have fun with the activity but at the same time they learn. The students will remember certain activities and lessons from each other because they might remember a student acting out a certain character or a student mentioning something during group work and the student will apply it when they need it. It sticks better in their minds when they can refer to certain lessons that they were apart of. The last step in creating a good education for your students is to focus all the attention on the students ans try to understand each one. Take the time to learn each of your students names if you can’t name all the names then you have not but in enough effort to get to know your students.
