I have experienced the harmful affects of drunk driving on a personal level when a drunken college student murdered my uncle. It was late afternoon and Uncle Greg was taking a jog along the side of the road when a drunk driver on his way home from happy hour hit him. He flew 15 feet into the air and was slammed on the ground, got up and took 2 steps in shock and fell dead to the ground. If it weren’t for the carelessness of the driver my uncle would be alive today. My message to you today is whenever you are drinking off campus PLEASE designate a driver for you own sake and the sake of innocent people like my uncle Greg.
