Their are many different breeds of dogs that range from very small indoor dogs to very large working dogs. There is one out there for you no matter what type you want. You can teach dogs tricks or play games with them, they are very quick learners. You can teach dogs simple tricks such as sitting, and giving paw or complicated tricks such as playing dead and catching a frisbee in its mouth. Dogs can sense when you are sad or hurt, they will sit next to you and cheer you up. They can also sense when you are happy, and jump around and play with you. Dogs are better than cats because they like to interact with you. Dogs love to go swimming in the creek, play fetch with a frisbee, or rolling around wrestling on the ground with you. Everyone knows that cats hate the water, can not catch anything in their mouth except for your moms favorite bird, and would never roll around on the ground without clawing you with their sharp nails. Cats will wonder off for many days while a dog would stay near to protect their home and family.
