Does violence in video games cause violence in children?
... violent after they play a game with endless killing. That does not mean that these games should be censored or kids should not be able to play them. What this means is that the parents should look at the rating of the game. Most of these parents that think these games should be taken out of stores are showing violence themselves by doing every thing in their power to take these games away. If these parents took all of the violent games away they would be taking away every game that was ever made. There are ways that the parents can see if there is any violence in games. They can look at the ratings done by ESRB. ESRB is the entertainment software rating board. This is the company that rates games. If the parents don’t like the way a game is rated or what is in a game they can get over it. ESRB rates games by how much violence, gore, and language is in a game. That is how they rate games. There are five different ratings a game could get these ratings are early childhood, everyone, teen, mature, and adults only. If a game only has some crud language and comical violence it is rated everyone. If a game has violent content and strong language than it is rated teen.
