He also approved $20 billion in emergency supplemental funding passed by Congress after Sept. 11. Also included in the bill is a pay increase of 6.9 percent for military personnel, $61 billion for new weapons and $50 billion for housing development. Most people will think of this bill as a dream. It is the biggest Department of Defense Budget increase ever. It is going up a total of 37 billion dollars. Where is this money coming from though? The Bush administration thinks that this bill will increase military power, and spending. At whose cost is it though?
