In addition to this, in my country if you miss because of sickness or an accident the teachers will be very flexible with you; while in America teachers are very strict to their students. A second area of contrast between the two countries educational systems is the grading scale. The grading scale is very important aspect to determine the achievement of student in his/her subjects. In the U.S, there is a system that combines numbers and letters. The students can get a grade from A (excellent) to F (failing).
