...nd of player is particularly concerned about the storyline. They would pay attention to every little details of the game as they go through each act and quests step by step. Players that belong to this group are usually quite new to the game and lacks the advanced knowledge that more experienced players have. They tend to follow guides and learn as they go. Once they have completed every act and quests in the game, they either give up the game due to lack of interest, or they would move on to one of the other 3 groups. Next, it’s the ladder running group. This group can be further sub categorized into “ Killers” and “Lechers”. Both the killers and lechers would have to attain certain character level before they are able to earn useful amount of character experience points. To attain that minimum level, newly created characters need to have help to rush them through the required acts and quests that would allow them to enter a cave where they could get plenty of experience points. Up to 8 players would then join a party and go on “experience runs” and then the difference between the killers and lechers would surface. Killers would be doing all the hard work of killing the monsters in the cave and lechers would simply stand in one little corner where no monsters would be in sight. Even though they aren’t killing the monsters, they would receive experience points because they are in the same party. However, they do receive less experience points then players who kill the monsters. They would do it continually for weeks, sometimes months, to get the chance of being on the Ladder, which is a list of players reaching the highest level (99 being the highest). Currently, there are 900 players on the Ladder, all of whom are level 99. The third group is the “Magic Finder” group. Players would have a character, usually a sorceress, dedicated to magic finding. Magic finding is where a character goes to an act and kills the boss of that act. After the boss dies, it sometimes drops a valuable item that can be used to trade for other items used by the character itself. Magic finders do nothing else but repeat the routine over and over again until they find something that is very valuable or simply just too tired to continue on.
