DJ Frankie bones mixed hard-hitting drum and bass with break beats and battle scratches. Diesel Boy took it a step further by speeding up old reggae and dub tracks. He then added a couple of samples and electronically sequenced his music through a computer. The final result was a rougher style of jungle music. DJ Aphrodite mixed speeded up trance/ambient techno with heavy percussion. Her style sounded more ethereal and cosmic.
