Over the last couple of years I have devoted a lot of my time into researching how to properly operate a 4wd vehicle off road and today I would like to share that knowledge with you. d. Survey the trail i. Make sure the trail goes beyond the obstacle. ii. You get a better look at what you are going to drive over. iii. Don’t stop in the middle of the obstacle. iv. Look at what you just drove over. Transition: If while surveying the trail you come across a step uphill or steep down hill you should always go strait up and down the hill. c.
