We see how much Willy is loved by his family when he returns from his trips. “Biff-Where’d you go this time, Dad? Gee we were lonesome for you. Willy-Lonesome heh? Biff-missed you every minute.” (Act 1, paragraphs 228-230). His wife Linda is always referring to him as the handsomest man around. Willy tells his family how much his buyers love him in every town. Appearance and personality are very important qualities to Willy. He instills these values with his sons, he tells them they can go anywhere it they are handsome and well liked.
