Dealing with Frustration
...venated, focused, and ready to work. I found this to be very effective in dealing with my escape from normal pressures. Having found this outlet, I can’t imagine what I would do instead of hitting the gym. While I deal with my frustration in this way, there are several ways that frustration can be dealt with. A coping strategy is useless unless it’s effective. The possibilities of dealing with frustration are limitless and good as long as they work. It took me a great deal of time to finally find a good outlet that actually dealt with the problem and left me feeling rejuvenated. Prior to this I had tried things such as reading, listening to music, and even drawing. That’s not to say that these methods don’t work because for some people they certainly will. Overall, my coping strategy made me a better person to be around Not having an effect way of dealing with frustration can be dangerous. If you do not have some sort of release it may lead you to do things that are harmful to yourself or even others. Before I found my outlet I resorted to things that were hurtful to not only myself, but others around me. I would have violent tendencies and a negative attitude towards anyone I would interact with.
