Anyway near the end Dawn throughout the book continued to leave out details in the narrative of her childhood experiences. For an example Dawn left out family details until later on in narration of her life. “My father was a happy, joy man… he took me and my swimming very seriously” but later in the book when she seemed to “just remember it” “My father beat me after losing a swimming championship, little did he know that in later swimming heats I swam faster…only from the anger swelled up inside me”.
