But after wanting to be alone and then becoming alone without this person there he finally realizes how alone it feels to be alone. Just thinking about this person is a burden so this shows how much the speaker cared for this person. I also get a sense that the speaker is supposed to be a male and the person he is talking about is his girlfriend or ex-girlfriend. But I think he still loves her so much that he wants some sort of revenge for what she did to him. All he really wants to do is watch her be in pain.I chose to do my multi genre research project on Dave Mathews Band. I have always liked listening to the songs of Dave Mathews but I never fully understood how talented he was. In fact, each individual of Dave Mathews Band has more talent than I’ll ever be able to draw close to. A lot of people don’t like dMb because of Dave’s voice. But I think that if you knew anything about being a vocalist, you would know how hard it is to sing the range of notes he is able to hit. Although much of the time when he sings those high notes he is singing falsetto. He can also hit those notes without using his head voice.
