Randomly Players step forward, one per turn to demonstrate, with words/actions. The "Worst" aspect of the given topic game ends when the players have exhausted the topic. #10 PARK BENCH Number of Players - 4 entire class Audience - if using class, rotates in one at a time to replace player who leaves. Object - continual change of situations and actors. Procedure - Bench or 3 chairs side-by-side. First player enters and sits in seat closest to entrance, begins a scene, looks at watch, feeds birds, etc. When scene is fully established the next player enters. First player moves over one space and the two interact with dialogue. Third person enters others move over. Now all interact. Fourth person enters, first person leaves, exist by walking behind the bench and will return when his/her turn comes up again. NOTE: Once an idea has been used it may not be used again. #11 STORY LINE Number of Players - One Director; many story tellers. Audience - Gives beginning of story. Object - Developed a sensible story by listening closely. Procedure - Players face audience, Director sits in front of them. Director points randomly to story teller who must build story with plot including conflict and resolution. First story teller begins the story, (Once upon a time). Each story teller continues story until another one is chosen by a Director. Story teller use translation words to help Directors such as…Because then according to since and however. NOTE: Use proper sentence structures. No run on or fragmented sentences. #12 SWITCH Number of Players - Three to Four Actors; One Director Audience - Gives location, situation, relationships Object - Portray different characters during one scene Procedure - Actors sit on stage. They interact with dialogue while portraying distinct personalities by use of qualities when director calls, "switch". They all move to different chairs and take on the personality of the actors sitting there before. #13 FAIRYTALES Number of Players - One Storyteller; 6 to 10 Actors Audience - Give a known fairytale Object - Actors must listen carefully to storyteller in order to act out the story Procedure - Storyteller tells his/her version of a fairytale, keeping the tale at a slow pace so the actors can act it out. Actors use pantomime only. The story must have conflict and resolution and must remain appropriate. #14 INTERPRETATOR Number of Players - One Interpretator; One Ambassador Audience - Gives name of country and asks questions Object - Interpreter must make up a speech that is spoken in gibberish Procedure - Both stand before audience; Interpreter introduces Ambassador who gives speech in gibberish. Interpreter tells audience in English. At the end of speech the interpreter asks questions from audience.
