Learning from peers and collaboration help to remove the feeling of failure and provide the emotional basis to boost motivation and learning (Whitehill, Stokes, and MacKinnon, 1997). In addition, all the subjects in my school also have a recommended book list that allows the students to search an appropriate book earlier. My school principal does not take a leading role in curriculum reform because he thinks that all the teachers have good ability and should know what things can make the curriculum better. Thus, all the subject panels are taking the lead in curriculum reform and other teachers will follow the instructions. Maybe sometimes if the teacher has some suggestions or new ideas on the curriculum, the subject panel will listen and then he or she will make the final decision. At last, all the teachers who teach at that subject are just follow the instruction. We will have a subject meeting once per month. We will share the problems during the lesson or on the curriculum; to introduce the new teaching method and teaching materials of that subject. Therefore, sometimes we need to .cut・ a part of the curriculum and also to make some teaching kits to fit our curriculum reform. Many teachers want to know more on the curriculum reform or refresh their teaching views or methods, so they usually participate some workshops that are useful for the subject. Furthermore, they also attend some computer courses to reach the IT standard set by the SAR government. Most of the teaching staff think that they have a responsibility to be a well-prepared teacher.
