...el like I’m more likely typical Korean. It’s even easier to see when I talk to my friends from high school. They are the “real” Korean Americans. Their parents immigrated to United States in 60s or 70s in their college or high school years and then my friends were born after their parents settled into the new society. Since my friends were born and raised in United States throughout their whole life, the way my friends think or act is like typical American people. Only the appearance is what makes them labeled as “Korean American”, but some of them are not even close to be called as Korean. some selfish parents tend not to teach their children the language of their origin, so that they could learn english better by speaking english with their children who have korean people's face, but with american style, attitudes. their parents don't even think about what their children might go through struggling to find who they really are ...
