...sn’t something he enjoyed having. So Crabbe decided running away from home and school would maybe change everything. Crabbes Personality changed so much after going into to bush. He had nothing compared to what he left back home. He had met a girl named Mary who had changed him. She changed who he was and how he did certain stuff. He didn’t enjoy being out there but with her he’s mind had some how changed that. Mary had helped him see that running away from problems doesn’t help. Face your problems on your own. Crabbe all of a sudden turned into a mature adult when Mary passes away in the book. He took control of the situation and finished he’s journey on he’s own back to home. I think Mary changed Crabbes mind about staying there, when he tried to figure out why Mary was in the middle of nowhere he began to think what she would have done if she was alive. Would she have gone back? Or stayed in the woods?. Crabbe was a weak a little boy before he met Mary, she taught him how to survive the woods with such little food and other objects. Mary’s death also made Crabbe stronger because he had loved her. In the book Crabbe, Mary’s personality is so different from Crabbe himself. She was kind, gentle and strong. She new what to do ...
