We've formulated the definition of "control" in this economy to mean the exercise of new ideas followed by success. We've chosen Victoria Secret to demonstrate the control aspect of management because of its willingness to take risks, not playing risks with enertia and rising above its time. It is one thing to plan and create great objectives for the upcoming 2-3 years and delegate task masters to follow through, but what happens when you follow through with a good plan and your numbers continue to drop?
