Conflict in antigone and all my sons

The Sentry brings Antigone to Creon and he says to her, “And yet you dared defy the law” (Antigone ,115) and Antigone says, “I dared...” (Antigone,115) When Antigone was caught Creon sentenced her to imprisonment in a cave where after being left there she hung herself. Then Haemon killed himself because Antigone was dead and Eurydice killed herself because she could not stand the loss of her sons. Creon suffered more than any of them because he had to live with being the reason his wife and son killed themselves There is also an interpersonal conflict in All My Sons between Chris Keller and Joe Keller. Joe Keller worked his whole life to build his company. He then wanted his son Chris to put his name on the company also but Chris does not want to. Chris believes that his father had something to do with the cracked cylinder heads being sent out and he does not want to have his name on the company that had killed so many people. “I want a new sign over the plant - Christopher Keller, Incorporated.”(All My Sons, 195) Then Chris says a little uneasily, “J.O. Keller is good enough”(All My Sons, 195) When he found out that his father had actually given Steve orders to cover up the hairline cracks and ship them out. Chris was outraged about what his father had done. Joe Keller could not stand it that he had disappointed his son by his mistake and killed himself.
