College Stress
...he student is out on their own they need money to support themselves. For some students this will meant getting their first job. In “Common Sources of Stress,” it states that jobs have become one of the key sources of stress for college students. Jobs are very stressful, there are horrible co-workers and supervisors, there is overtime, and there are the worst customers at the worst possible moment. All of these elements cause an ungodly amount of stress in a person’s life, especially college students. Unfortunately, for most students this is one source of stress that can not be cut out completely. Most students can not afford to not work during their duration of their schooling. The good thing that college students are start to realize is that in today’s world there are many opportunities for college students acquire more money from things like grants and scholarships. This helps the college student lower his stress which makes him more productive in college. Everybody knows that girls take time and money. You also know that money is time, therefore girls equal money squared. It is also understood that money is the root of all evil, since this is true, then girls equal evil, or girls are evil. Stress too is equal to evil so girls equal stress, or girls are stressful. Girls and girlfriends can be an added stress in a college student’s life. Girlfriends are very demanding as well. Long distance relationships also are very stressful, much more then a normal everyday relationship. A long distance relationship requires extra effort. They require extra money, for phone calls and visits, they require extra trust, which is not always easy to give, and they require extra devotion along with dedication. It is a given that college is demanding, everybody knows this. The teachers are tough, the homework is hard, and the grades matter. The stress that is involved in college is enough all by it’s self to drive a student to insanity. It is a no wonder that there are so many college drop outs.
