The article concluded with an incident where college drinkers resisted the decision to ban alcohol from the campus. The decision was a result of 2 incidents at fraternities: the beating death of one student after a party and the near-death of another student from alcohol poisoning. Even after these two tragic events, the fraternity members resisted the decision and they were given one last chance to demonstrate their “positive attributions to campus life”.
