...sbad Fire Department. He kindly talked to me that morning and throughout the day about firefighting. He answered all of my questions that I could think of. I don’t know how he could have kept on talking to me. I was probably one annoying kid that asked too many questions. Through talking to him I realized that I wanted to be a firefighter when I was older. That afternoon when I went home I told my parents all about it and that night I could barely sleep. I could not wait until the next morning to talk to my new friend, the firefighter, Skip Clark. I was afraid that if I went to sleep that night then I would sleep in too late and miss the morning. I ended up falling asleep that night which was probably a good thing but luckily I woke up in the morning around 8:00. I skipped my shower in the morning and just got dressed and jumped on my bike. I rode over to the school which was only one house down and entered the gate. There I saw the fire department and made sure that they were still there. My parents recently told me that I brought my favorite pudding in my backpack to give to Firefighter Skip Clark but I can’t remember doing so. So then I again rode across the field and found him.
