No place in written history, can it be proven that this is one-hundred percent true. Another of his principles is, “the doctrines of the person and the work of Christ are inseparable”. I agree with Migliore again, as a person cannot just look at another life and also look at what the person has accomplished in that life. Yet, one cannot just look at what the person has accomplished, and not look at the person overall. Life is a combination of personal accomplishments, and who the person is. Without both, you’re not seeing the whole picture. The last principle I agree with is his statement that, “every understanding and confession of Jesus Christ grows out of a particular situation and both reflects and speaks to particular needs and aspirations”. If Jesus is not in your life, have a near death or moving experience. Most people will seek a higher power during a time of need. Migliore argues that Jesus is fully human. He provides clear points about how Jesus did not know everything, as he also experienced limitations in his life. He would become hungry and thirsty just as any human that walks the Earth. I agree with this argument, as he was born to a woman and a man, perhaps not natural circumstances, but he had many human qualities about him. He then argues that Jesus is not only fully human, but also fully divine. I do not agree with this statement. I do not believe that Jesus was both.
