...d that’s a long time so I’m sure he wouldn’t know how to take care of a kid. Also Claire didn’t know how to contact him so that wasn’t really a choice for me to choose from. The second option that I was able to place him was with his grandfather in Palm Springs but he retired early and doesn’t have a job so he probably wouldn’t be able to provide anyone but himself. He also had been charged with misconduct with a minor so I didn’t consider that choice. The third option I had was to place him with his aunt who is single and has no children. She works for a high-tech security firm, which I thought, was real good until I found out that she works long hours and travels around the country several times a month. So I thought to myself that she wont be able to spend some quality time with Sammy, which isn’t good for a seven year-old child. Another two options I had were to put Sammy in a foster home with either a family from agency A or agency B except agency A didn’t have any licensed families available. Agency B had one family available but they were previously rejected by agency A so I didn’t trust them and didn’t want to take that risk. The last option I had to place Sammy was with his uncle who had a wife and lived in a two- bedroom apartment in southern Utah.
